Media & publicity since 2007
I started in the US Navy as a photojournalist, stationed at the US Naval Academy and aboard USS Carl Vinson. From there, I relocated to the LA area to get some experience in the entertainment industry. There I developed my creative skillset managing asset databases and designing photography workflows for live events such as The Oscars, ESPYs, and D23 Convention.
Eventually, I relocated to the Tampa area but had the unique opportunity to work in unscripted reality teleivision post production remotely with Shed Media in Los Angeles. I supported the post efforts for various titles in the Real Housewives franchise, Below Deck & Paris in Love.
I understand the unique challenges for creating content across many different industries, and my resourcefulness allows me to come up with novel solutions to problems and challenges.

Areas of Practice
Social Media
I am a habitual early adopter of new gadgets and tools and find myself signing up for new services just to see how they work. In the past I have experimented with creating streaming overlays for Twitch, as well as editing Instagram Reels.
Research and flexibility
I investigate errors and pain points in workflows, identifying where things can be improved. Whether it’s designing a ticketing system to allow data tracking for a CMS, or developing a request form for business partners to submit media requests— I am constantly looking into and exploring new paths.
TELEVISION, FILM, & THEATRE
Some people like sports. I took all that bandwidth and applied it to worldwide box office gross numbers and the latest development deals. I have my finger on the pulse of the current media landscape, and I can provide unique insight into where things might be going in the future.
EMERGING TECH
Generative AI and other machine learning technologies are exciting, but also must be handled with some level of caution. The ability to generate assets is in its infancy and I enjoy fiddling with whatever new thing comes out to see— but my discerning eye hasn’t been convinced it can be the sole source of assets for an art piece.
DIGITAL MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY
The internet, software, and technology are only becoming more integrated into our lives. I do not shy away from learning new things or implementing a new tool into my workflow to make delivery easier and more timely. Along with that, I love to share what I’ve learned with the team to elevate everyone.
Color Theory
I work in digital, but I also paint miniatures. The toolset I’ve developed bridging the two hobbies have allowed me to identify and discover unique color harmonies to make designs pop.
